Be weird

I really like this TED talk by JP Sears, a life coach who uses humor in much of his material. The message, which is to be weird by being yourself, is deliberately impertinent. He makes a point that provokes and sticks a finger in the eye of our inner demons. For me, they are my perfectionist, my pleaser and my hermit.

Stop being fine

Anything that is a break from your routine, requires FORCE. The good part is that forcing yourself to do something new is what makes your life the most interesting!! Mel Robbins: "When you feel stuck or dissatisfied in your life, it's a signal. It's not a signal that your life is broken. But that one of your most basic needs is not being met: exploration and growth."

Time to brave up

What happens when women can't be what they want to be? They experience crises. Are you feeling this?: I can't speak up. I can't get out of this crushing competition. I can't break this cycle of mistreatment. I can't heal my chronic illness. I can't do work that I love.

The answer: See bravely. Speak bravely. Shine bravely. Watch this video to learn how.
