Habit is stronger than will-power

This article is about my experience with cultivating habit and improving my focus on my essential activities. As an entrepreneur, and as someone who wants to get more out of life, I've found that will-power is NOT the answer to overcoming resistance to good habits. It also helps to know how the brain works.

Doing less

I have been reading up on productivity, and all the books I have read have made it a point that your success doesn’t depend on doing even more with your time. It’s doing less, more efficiently. You can do your best work and be more successful if you choose to focus your attention on the most important thing, removing all other things from your to-do list. I need to ask myself: Is this the best use of my time right now? When looking back a year from now, which activities will I be glad I did and which ones will I regret?
